Shopping Spree: Housewares

Awesome playing cards.
A Moomin tray or two.
Crocheted sand dollar.
This MS. poster for my office.
Scented drawer liners. Lilies of the valley remind me of my grandma.
A chair I can't afford.
I covet this apple so deeply.
And this stapler even more.

Parks and Recs Is Back!

I am so excited! Here's some links:
Amy Pohler's favorite sad movies. And it includes You Can Count on Me, one of my favorite movies ever for the same reason Amy Pohler mentions.
A review.
Amy Pohler as a young model. Seen above!

Eureka

Eureka exists in a better universe than ours. In its universe, there is an Indiana baseball team.

Other notes: Carter is surprisingly hot in his US Marshall outfit. I love that the woman who plays Allison was the voice of Ellisa in Gargoyles. (Other voice work in Gargoyles: ED ASNER!!!!!!!!!) I liked Zoe better when she had a nose ring.

Indiana Icons of the 21st Century

Indiana was formerly famous for producing Kurt Vonnegut, David Letterman, and *shudder* Dan Quayle. These guys aren't as famous, but I love them both. Especially since both Hoosiers hail from the opposite side of the culture wars from Quayle. One is the Sartorialist. The other is the creator and producer of Glee, Ryan Murphy.

Parks and Recreation

I was already pretty excited about the Office sorta spinoff, now-titled Parks and Recreation. I mean it has the Office creative plus some of my favorite comedians including Amy Pohler, Rashida Jones, and that guy from the Daily Show. And it's working from the whole Obama angle, which could be pretty fun. THEN they added the Indiana stuff. You can even see the IN crest in the ad. I love it. I'm sold on this show already.
