Annie Hall, 1813

I rewatched Pride and Prejudice (yes the Ikea KnightleyTM version) and realized at last that the wardrobe person had dressed Lizzie Bennett as a nineteenth century Annie Hall. Menswear, everywhere, except at the balls. Ha, that was an absurd unintended pun. Anyway, see below for my evidence:

TM One of Mark Kermode's listeners suggested the nickname Ikea Knightley. I love it.

Howdy Partner

I lifted this image off the internet ages ago and somehow lost all the info on it. Frustrating. Anyway, I kept it as my desktop until recently when I was using my laptop at Rotofugi and K identified it as Andrew Brandou. Yea! http://www.howdypardner.com/

The Olympics!

This is a post for my brother, who does not know that this blog exists. Anyway, when we were kids, we used to pretend to be a baby horse and a baby hamster, named Horhey and Kwatchi respectively. Kwatchi was 'baby' for Scratchy, the name of our hamster. And now one of the icons for the possible Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Care of Boing Boing.

My Daemon

Go to Golden Compass! You will find out who your daemon is. My daemon is a lion, which is nice since my last name means "son of lion" and another family name involved lions. Also a bit surprising since I expected a mouse or meerkat. Something small and nervous. I like being the lion. But I lost the image from the website :( His name was Luceus. Okay, I retook it and saved it but my guy has a new name (Photion). Okay that didn't work either. For now anyway. So I'm posting the poster of daemons instead. http://www.goldencompassmovie.com/
